How is a taxi fare in Zwickau calculated?
The fare consists of a base fare, tiered kilometre rates, possible surcharges and waiting time. The weekday tariff applies from 06:00 to 22:00 on working days; the night, Sunday and public-holiday tariff applies at all other relevant times.

Tariff zone I, tariff zone II and possible approach charges
The operating-base municipality of the executing taxi company generally forms tariff zone I. The remainder of the mandatory service area is tariff zone II. For Zwickau, the regulation also distinguishes a core and outer area. The online calculator therefore estimates only the occupied route; approach charges and tariff stage 2 require an assigned local company.
